The Legend of Zelda: Ganon's Revenge Part I

I’ll bet you Zelda fans have been wondering, “Does Link ever find Navi?”  He does, that’s the person he was looking for in Majora’s Mask. Well he finds her shortly after Link defeats Majora’s Mask.  But, Majora cursed Link to always be Oni-Link until he found the thing he truly desired.  So Link had to be a lot more serious about finding Navi than he was.

The Reason Majora cursed Link was this:  Majora is Ganon’s great grandfather.  Majora wanted to get revenge on Link for imprisoning Ganondorf.  A further part of the curse that Link didn’t know about, was that Majora brought Ganon back from the world he was in, to avenge his own defeat.

Link went to the Forest Temple to get Saria’s suggestion on where fairies go when they don’t need their Kokiri anymore.  Before he got there, he was surrounded by savage Skull Kids.  They all tried to beat him, but he performed Din’s Fire and then Nayru’s Love, and quickly ran off.  Link encountered many more monsters and slowly, every ambush drained his magic more and more.

When Link got to the Stalfo maze, he had no magic potions left, but only one magic left.  He slowly and stealthily made his way to the stairs, but there was only a big blue magic energy shield where the stars should have been.  He stuck his hand through it and felt a shocking feeling and quickly pulled it out.  He understood you needed magic to get inside, so he went to the fairy fountain and got a fairy.  The fairy told him that he could only get through the whole way by having a good heart.

He asked it where fairies go when they don’t need their Kokiri anymore, and couldn’t tell him because he might kill all of the fairies there.  So he asked another fairy and said that they go to the Fairy World, and you could only get there by traveling forward in time further than light could go.  Link wondered what it meant as he played The Prelude of Light.

When he got to the temple, he tried to take out the Master Sword from the Pedestal of Time, and nothing happened.  The sword wouldn’t budge.  There was a glowing inscription in the pedestal, though.  It said “Fire the tip of light at the crystal of which I hold in my possession as of now”.  Link quickly fired a light arrow into the crystal of the Master Sword, and he felt the same shocking feeling he felt at the stairs.  He became surrounded in a blue shield and when it shattered, he was in a land similar to Kokiri Forest.  But then he saw Saria, and himself, as a boy, with Navi.  He ran there and Link started climbing down the ladder.  He tried to talk to Navi, but she didn’t say anything.

He went to the Great Deku Tree for help but it couldn’t see him either.  He suddenly, without thinking, started shooting energy at it.  He tried to stop himself, but he couldn’t stop!  But then, he remembered what The Great Deku Tree told him years ago, when he was dieing.  “A man in black robes rode on a black stallion and demanded for Farore’s Pearl.  When I said “no”, he performed a spell on me…an evil spell that currently makes me die…”  Link realized that Ganon summoned Oni-Link to kill the Great Deku Tree.

“Huh?” thought Link, “I started Ganon’s conquering? I killed the Great Deku Tree?!”  Link vanished and was sent back to the Temple of time, one again, as a boy.  The thing he truly desired was to kill the Great Deku Tree.
