Seven Years of Chaos
Chapter One: The Beginning

It was hot that day. Sweltering hot, it could be said, if you weren?t used to the Gerudo Valley, but for a native Gerudo girl, it was just another summer day. I was sitting in the courtyard of the biggest fortress, with my bestest friend Nabooru. Actually, Nabooru?s related to me; she?s my aunt?s, sister-in-law?s, brother?s daughter. Only distantly related, but she was still allowed into Fort Nvamn, which was home to the head of the Gerudo?s, my father, Ganondorf Dragmire. And home to his top advisers, and his head of his army, and servants, and a whole bunch of other
stuff. It was also home to me, Jeidia Arian Dragmire and Nabooru Szami.

?So Jeidia,? Nabooru said. ?You actually hear from The Head Guy yet?? She always called my father ?The Head Guy.? ?Oh, I did, I actually did. That funny-looking messenger guy, you know, the Hylian one with the bright orange hair, he came with a message from my father and ya know what he actually said Nabooru? He said that my father said that he?s
found something, and I figure it?s the something he?s been looking for?.? I
said, with a grin. Nabooru stared on in amazement and maybe shock. ?He
didn?t tell me?that? And I?m the second most important Gerudo?sorta?? I
actually was probably the 2nd most important Gerudo, but not many people
recognized that. ?Apparently, he just told me, no one else. He also is
having one of those big important meetings, and you know what happened when I asked your dear lover-boy about it? He stared at me like I had three eyes or something. He found out today though.? I paused and waited for Nabooru?s answer. As I knew what would happen, she blushed furiously and began to stammer in a very high-pitched voice, ?If you?re talking about?about Makafei van Le Julieandith?-She blushed even more at his name-? Well, he?s not my lover-boy.?
? Really? Are you absolutely sure Nabooru? I can see the
look on your face and I have my doubts to what you say,? said a very
annoying, and sarcastic voice, which belonged to an even more annoying
person. ?MUDORA!?!? Me and Nabooru absolutely cried. ?Yes, Mudora, in person.? He replied, as cool and calm as he always was. ?What are you doing here Mudora?? Nabooru said, already irked by his presence. She never really liked Mudora; he annoyed her so, mostly because he never fully answered her questions. ?Aren?t you supposed to be on some far away trip, away for a long time? As in, not going to be in Hyrule for a long time? I haven?t seen you in three weeks. Where were you?? I added. He gave me the I-don?t-know-what-you-mean look, which was a look that hardly came across his face. ?Who told you that??-He paused for a moment- ?Never mind. I know.?
?You didn?t answer our questions,? I said crossly. ?One, it?s a public
courtyard and two, I?m not going to answer those questions. Questions are
better left unanswered?? Mudora said, with his usual smirk. ?Good-day.? He said, and proceeded to leave. ?No wait, Mudora!? Nabooru cried, and grabbed the hem of his black cloak. ?Why are you really here? I know you didn?t just come to say hi,? Nabooru said, dragging him down to the ground beside her.
I took the moment to marvel at Mudora. He was an odd thing,
not Gerudo, not Hylian, not really anything I?d ever seen before. It was my
best guess that maybe he was one of the ever-rare Sheikah, mostly because of his eyes, bright Sheikah eyes. He had silver eyes; they seemed like
lightning and never settled on a shade. Sometimes he had almost white eyes,
sometimes dark grey. He was also very pale, and he had dark hair, which
reached to his shoulders. Mudora also carried a green, leather-bound book
with him everywhere, which he never let anybody write in and rarely let
anybody read. Oh yeah, he was paranoid. Oh so paranoid. Paranoid, and
annoying and oh so?.Erm?.Let?s get on with the story?.
Mudora sighed dramatically, which received a sharp glare from
Nabooru. ?Well?Let?s put it like this?let go of my cape-?Nabooru still held
on-?I was not in this hot, sweltering, evil, hot, sweaty, sizzling-?Get on
with it Mudora.?- ?And I was walking away from this?place? And I found this really big ranch place, I don?t remember what it was called, and I went
there for a day, but this little redheaded girl kept following me. So after
that, I left that ranch and walked some more, and I went to Kakariko. Not
much happened. I stayed there for the night, because I don?t really like
walking across Hyrule in the middle of the night, when those awful little
skeleton things are about.-? Who?d you stay with?? I asked, grinning. Mudora blinked, blushed, and got the I-didn?t-really-want-to-hear-that look on his face. ??The inn wasn?t finished so?? He got a very dramatic evil look on his face. ?So, what happened?? Nabooru cried. ?I slept in?I slept in the?.I slept in the graveyard!? ?Ugh?how morbid can you be?? I asked him and his morbid self. ?You don?t want to know, Jeidia. So after I was all nice and comfy behind one of the stones, I fell asleep. And I had this very odd, strange, yet quite familiar dream?.? He looked down at his hands, his voice becoming somber. ?I?I dreamt that Hyrule was different? It was all sort of dark and not right. I saw you, Nabooru, and a Zora lady, a very big Goron, an old man; I didn?t like him very much, a lady with white hair, and a short fairy-girl. Oh, and there were two other people that I didn?t know. There was a tall man with a shiny sword and a Hylian girl with a crown?.? ?Was I there?? I asked, not sure if I actually wanted the answer. ?I couldn?t see you. But you were there. Just far away, maybe lost?? Nabooru released her hand from Mudora?s cloak. ?Wow?so what happened after that? Why were you gone so long?? ?I don?t know. I think I went to a forest. But I can?t remember?.? ?Why, Mudora?? I asked, as his eyes slowly filled with tears. ?I?m not allowed to say?.? ?Why?? ?Okay, I do remember. I had to go back to, ahh?let?s just say I had to go back to a certain realm. Because of certain reasons?.? ?And the reasons being?? Nabooru asked him, looking him straight in the eyes. ?Some questions are better left unanswered.? He said hastily, and with those last words, he was off. ?Mudora is so emotional and odd. Wonder what his ?realm? is?? I asked Nabooru, who was currently staring after Mudora. ?He made such a big speech about some dream he had?. And he still didn?t answer my question.?

(Author's Note: Hmm...Not much is going on in this
chapter, but in the next chapter is when all the major plot starts!!!
Anyway, note the certain character named Mudora. Could it be an ALTTP
reference? There is an item called the Book of Mudora in that game. Well,
just read the next chapter and find out! When I've written it of course!
