Masks - Majora's Mask

Great Fairy Mask

Go to the fairys fountain in North Clock Town with the shattered fairy from either the Laundry Pool during the day or East Clock Town at night and you will recieve the Great Fairys Mask.

With the Great Fairys Mask you can detect Stray fairies in temples when the hair from the mask shimmers. It will also attract the fairies right to you.

Bremen Mask

Go to the Laundry Pool at night on either Day 1 or Day 2 and talk to Guru-Guru, who will give you the Bremen mask.

With this mask, you can lead small animals around when pressing and holding the B button.

Bunny Hood

Go to the Cucco Shack at Romani Ranch to see Grogs flock of Cuccos. Use the Bremen Mask to lead all of the Cuccos and they will all mature. Grog then thanks you by giving you the Bunny Hood.

With the Bunny Hood, your speed as Link will increase and you will be able to run much faster.

Kamaros Mask

Go to the Mushroom Rock with the circle of rocks on it in North Termina Field on any night between midnight and 6 a.m. Talk to Kamaro and play the song of healing in front of him to get his mask.

With the Kamaro Mask, you can dance just like Kamaro did by pressing and holding B.

Blast Mask

Go to North Clock Town on Day 1 at 12:30 a.m. to stop Sakon the thief from stealing from an old lady. Hit him with your sword and if you suceed, the old lady will give you the Blast Mask.

With the Blast mask, you can detonate the mask several times by pressing B, if you run out of Bombs or Bombchus.

Mask of Truth

Go to the Swamp Spider House near the Deku Palace and find all of the Gold Skulltulas to lift the curse and the man at the beginning of the house will reward you with the Mask of Truth.

The Mask of Truth lets you get clues from Gossip Stones and can read the minds of dogs if you pick one up while wearing the mask. This will help you in the dog race at Romani Ranch.

Mask of Scents

After you beat Odolwa, the Deku Kings butler will challenge you to a race in the Deku Cave, to the left of the Deku Palace. Walk inside and talk to the Butler, now walk closely behind him. When you get to the walls of fire deep inside, walk right, straight, left to the end, forward to the wall and then left. Watch out for the large pits as you will have to jump to the tree-tops as Link. Close to the end, there will be some fire on the tree-tops. Shoot the switch near the flames to clear the way. Once at the end, the Butler will give you the Mask of Scents.

With the Mask of Scents, you can sniff out mushrooms which you can give to Kotake in the Southern Swamp to make a potion.

Don Gero's Mask

Go to the Goron Shrine in the Goron Village and put the Goron baby to sleep by playing the Goron Lullaby. Then use a deku stick as Link, to light up all 11 of the torches in the shrine. Once done the chandelier will begin to spin. Now do a Goron roll from the babys room and to the ramp to hit the pots on the chandelier. If you hit the right one, a piece of rock sirloin will fall down to the ground. Pick it up and walk back to the Mountain Village. Go near the Mountain Smithy and talk to the Goron on top of the ledge. Then throw the rock sirloin up, and he will give you Don Gero's mask.

You can use Don Gero's Mask to gather up frogs scattered over the land to perform a song in the Mountain Village Pond at Spring time.

Romani's Mask   

After you have helped Romani stop the ghosts from attacking the ranch, go back to the ranch and go on the ride into town with Cremia to deliver the Chateau Romani to Clock Town at 6:00 pm on Day 2. Along the ride, you will have to take a detour and you will have to protect the milk from the bandits, who are the Gorman Brothers. Use you bow to hit the bandits and keep them at bay. If you make it safely, you will end up outside Clock Town and Cremia will give you Romani's Mask

You can use Romani's Mask to gain entrance to the Milk Bar after 10:00 pm in East Clock Town.

Circus Leader's Mask

Go to the Milk Bar after 10:00 pm on Day 1 or 2. You will see Toto making sound checks. Talk to Toto and then follow his instructions and use all 3 of your transformation masks to play different parts of the Ballad of the Wind Fish. Once you've played in all 4 spots as different people, you will see Gorman crying at the bar. Talk to him to get the Circus Leader's Mask.

When you wear the mask when you ride into Clock Town on Day 2 with Cremia, the Gorman brothers will follow you, but will not attack.

Garo's Mask

Go to the Gorman track just off of Milk Road on any day between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Walk up to the Gorman Brothers while riding Epona to challenge them to a race. Pay the 10 rupees to race, and if you beat them, they will give you the Garo's Mask

Use the Garo's Mask to gain entrance into Ikana Valley. You can also use it to protect you from ReDead, who will not attack if you are wearing the mask. Also, you can summon the Garo Ninjas in Ikana Valley, who will give you tips along the way.

Stone Mask

Walk to the circle of rocks right before the cliff to Ikana Valley at the turnoff to Ikana Graveyard and use your lens of truth. You will find a soldier there named Shiro. If you give Shiro Red or Blue Potion to give him energy, he will give you the Stone Mask.

Use the Stone Mask to go unseen by enemies.

All-Night Mask

Once you have stopped Sakon from robbing the old lady in North Clock Town at 12:30 a.m. on Day 1, go to the Curiosity Shop on Day 3 after 10:00 and buy the All-Night Mask. You will need a Giants wallet because you need 500 rupees to buy the mask.

With the All-Night Mask, you can visit Anju's Grandmother and hear her two stories to earn pieces of heart.

Kafei's Mask

Go and see Madame Aroma, the Mayor's Wife, to the right of the front Desk in the Mayor's Residence on Day 1 or 2 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. and talk to her. She will talk about her missing son, Kafei, and she will give you Kafei's Mask, and ask for your help to find Kafei.

Use Kafei's Mask to talk to Anju in the Stock Pot Inn to meet her at 11:30 in the kitchen.

Keaton Mask

When trying to unite Anju and Kafei, you will have a chance to earn the Keaton Mask. For more info see (Anju and Kafei in the Bombers Notebook)

On Day 3 of your quest, go to talk to the storekeeper of the Curiosity Shop, by using the back door from the Laundry Pool between 1:00 pm and 10:00 pm. When you talk to him, you will find that Kafei went to Sakon's Hideout in Ikana Valley to get his Wedding Mask back. The Storekeeper will then give you the Keaton Mask that Kafei left.

When you come across a circle of shrubs that move in Termina, chop everyone while wearing the Keaton Mask. If done, a Keaton will appear and give you a quiz to earn a piece of heart.

Postman's Hat (See Anju and Kafei for more info)

The storekeeper of the Curiosity Shop will give you express Mail to deliver to Kafei's mother, Madame Aroma. Take the Express mail to the postman in West Clock Town and he will deliver the mail to Madama Aroma in the Milk Bar. She will then relieve the postman of his duties and the postman will be free to leave. Follow him outside and talk to him to get the Postman's Hat.

Use the Postman's Hat to check the mail boxes in Clock Town for rupees and a piece of heart.

Couple's Mask (See Anju and Kafei for more info)

Go to meet Kafei outside of Sakon's Hideout before 7:00 pm on the 3rd day and wait for Sakon to open his hideout door. Kafei will then sneak in. Follow him inside. Follow him through and you will find the Sun's Mask, the mask that was stolen from Kafei. Kafei will then tell you to step on the blue switch on the ground. Once you do, you will start playing as Kafei. Push the block in the next room to put it over the switch. You will alternate playing as Link and Kafei. If you make it to the last room in time, Kafei will claim the mask and will go back to Clock Town to see Anju. Warp back to Clock Town and go to East Clock Town to the Stock Pot Inn and enter the employees-only room to see Anju and Kafei back together. Talk to them and they will give you the Couple's Mask.

Use the Couple's Mask to end the Mayor's Meeting on Day 1 or 2 from 10 am to 8 pm or on Day 3 from 10 am to 6 pm.

Captain's Hat

Once you are in the Ikana Graveyard, play the Sonata of Awakening to awake Captain Keeta. When he starts to run, chase him using Darmani, or using arrows to slow him down. Defeat the Stalchildren along the way. At the finish, roll across the gap to the treasure chest to recieve the Captain's Hat.

Use the Captain's Hat to command the Stalchildren in the Graveyard to dig up to graves.

Gibdo's Mask

Go to the Ikana Canyon Music Box House and play Song of Healing to Pamela's Father in the basement. He will then be healed, and all that will be left will be the Gibdo's Mask.

You can use the Gibdo's Mask to protect you from the ReDead and others.

Giant's Mask

In the Stone Tower Temple (Upside-Down) you will face an Eyegore in a hall before the boss. Defeat the Eyegore to get a chest containing the Giant's Mask.

Use the Giant's Mask to defeat the Stone Tower Temple boss, Twinmold. The Giant's Mask uses magic, so keep getting magic bottles.

Fierce Diety's Mask

If you defeat the four dungoens on the Moon and you give them all 20 masks, talk to the child wearing Majora's Mask sitting next to the tree to recieve the Fierce Diety's Mask.

You can use the Fierce Diety's Mask to beat Majora in the final battle. Wearing the Fierce Diety's Mask will transform you into a mighty warrior with a sword that fires beams from it. You can only use the Fierce Diety's Mask in boss rooms.
