Because the game is now on a 3-D mode, the same type of gameplay was applied, and there was a lot more strategy, tons of action, and beautiful full-motion video sequences. Lots of drama, more interesting secrets, yet a good plot.

Nintendo really took advantage of the full 3-D environment and combined with similar elements from the previous Zelda games for hours of enjoyment. Ocarina of Time would guarantee to change the way you think of Zelda games before you try out the latest releases of the Zelda series.

It's no wonder it won the Best Nintendo Release of 1998!

It Is A Good Game, Fun But Hard At The Same Time. I Am Stuck At The Moment, But Still Good Fun.

The best Legend of Zelda Game I have played, even compared to Majora's Mask. Perfectly combines the best aspects of the original and A Link To the Past, yet at the same time being original in its own right. Stunning graphics, INCREDIBLE music, and a stellar game-play engine. Like all of the other Zelda titles, no matter how many times you play through any one area, you feel like you missed something...and probably did!

The greatest video game ever, period. A sprawling epic of a game, beautifully told story. Proof that great 2D games can successfully translate into 3D. The graphics aren't spectacular but definitely do the job, the music is wonderful (though the original Zelda theme is notably missing), and the gameplay is absolutely brilliant (Z-targeting!). Huge environments, sweeping storyline, mind-blowing boss battles and tons of stuff to do. If any game in the series would make a great film, this is it. The scene where Ganondorf, atop his steed, towers over little Link who then unsheathes his kitchen knife of a sword in defiance perfectly sums up the grand scale of your adventure. Play it.

I loved this when it first came out and now am reliving the fun. The many side quests and fun things to do set this game apart from most.

Two words.. PLAY IT!!!

This game is the best game ever. Once you defet somthing you feel happy and then there is something even more fun coming up next. It takes alot of strategey but you just have to practice, practice, practice and then you get good at it and you have even more fun. I also enjoy how it starts out as a boy my age and you can control him houever you would like to. The story is excelent to. you dont get bored of it and the game seemes like it never ends so you can have fun for a long time. ZELDA FOREVER!. :)
