Maku Tree

After you have beaten the Medusa Head and the Sword & Shield Maze, go back to Horon Village and visit the Maku Tree. Talk to the Maku Tree and he will give you a Huge Maku Seed. So now you are ready to go to Onox's Castle. Make your way to Onox's Castle by going back towards the Norther Peak. When you reach the gate of Onox's Castle, the power of the Essences of Nature will help you get through to Onox's Castle. Koume and Kotake will appear and tell that king of evil will rule again. Go up one screen and enter Onox's Castle.

Onox's Castle

Inside Onox's Castle, there are flying tiles with fairies in them on the rooms to the left and right of the center path. However, if you go to the left or right of any of the rooms ahead, you will go back to the beginning. Get energized with a fairy, then walk straight. Defeat the enemies in the second and third rooms, then walk straight to find the face mini-boss of Snake's Remain. Use bombs on his face to win a fairy, then continue on straight. Go up one more screen from there, and you will see Din and then Onox will appear.

Onox

After Onox gives his short speech, he will start throwing his mace at you. When he throws it, jump over it using Roc's Cape. To damage Onox, you can only use a powered-up sword attack. After you have given him some damage, he will use Din as a shield. Get Din out of the way by using the Rod of Seasons to knock her away. After you have defeated this stage, the floor will collapse under you. Next, you will see Onox turn into his true form, as a dark dragon. To damage the dragon, you must jump onto its hand, after it drops to the ground. Once on the hand, wait for it to move closer to its head, then use Roc's Cape to jump and strike the red jewel on its forehead, with your sword.
