Adult Link Mini and Regular Boss Tips

Forest Temple
M-I-N-I Boss

Amy Poe is the last of the four poes that you have to defeat in order to gain access to
Phantom Ganon.  She will appear, and then split into four other poes.  Target one and shoot it.  You’ll know when you
get the right one. Keep repeating this process till she is dead.

Boss

Phantom Ganon in my opinion is the hardest of all of the bosses in the game.  Enter the
arena.  Nothing happens.  Turn around to exit the door, and Phantom Ganon will appear.  There’s no telling
what picture he’s going to run in or out of.  He will run into a picture, and then about a second later, an image
of him will come out of two different pictures.  Pick one.  If he turns around in one, quickly turn around and
find the real one, and shoot him with your arrow before he can get you.
Eventually he will get off his horse. He will throw balls of light at you.  Volley it back at him
with your Master Sword until it hits him.  The ball of light will go faster ever time you volley it back and forth
with him.  Once he his stunned, go over and attack him.  Repeat this process till he is dead.

Fire Temple
M-I-N-I Boss

Flare Dancers are actually particulary easy.  Z-Target it and throw a bomb at it.  It will
become a little gray ball.  What I find easiest to do is to go the opposite way it is circling around the pedestal and then
stun it with my hookshot, and then strike it.  Continue this process till the Flare Dancer has been defeated.

Boss

Volvagia in my opinion is extremely easy.   When Volvagia pokes it head out of a hole, stay
back a little so you don’t get hit with his flaring mane.  Then go and whack in with your Megaton Hammer a
bunch of times till he goes back into his hole.  Then go off the edge of the big circle your standing on so that Link
is hanging onto the edge, so that you can avoid any rocks that might fall on you.  Repeat this process till
Volvagia is dead.

Water Temple
M-I-N-I Boss

This deffinatley has to be the toughest mini boss to defeat.  Dark Link.  He will copy every
one of his your moves and learn then if you Z-Target him.  This took me a few fairies and a little bit of
research to figure out.  So DO NOT Z-Target Dark Link, and killing him will be a breeze.  Just simply slash him with
your sword!

Boss

Morpha by far is the easiest boss if you use this technique.  When Morpha comes out of the
water, hookshot it, and keep hookshoting it back with you till you drag it into a corner.  Then get in front of it so
you’re cornering it, and just slash at it.  It will have nowhere to go, and it should take you about 30 seconds.

Shadow Temple
M-I-N-I Boss

Deadhands are very easy, and you encountered one in the Bottom of the Well, but this time
it’s much easier because you have the Master Sword.  Just let one of the hands grab onto you, and then when
you see the weird looking guy appear, spin the control stick as fast as you can and go button crazy.  Then Z-
Target the weird looking guy and slash at his head.  Repeat this process till he is dead.

Boss

Bongo-Bongo is my favorite boss to face.  I don’t know why though.  But anyways, when
Bongo-Bongo disappears, shoot an arrow at both of his hands, and then pull out your Lens of Truth*, and
then when he gets close to you slash his eye continuesly until he gets right back up.  Repeat this process till he
is dead.

*Play the Song of Storms, then right when you gain control of Link, use your Lens of Truth
and you shouldn’t be using any magic meter!

Spirit Temple
M-I-N-I Boss

AHHH!!! I hate Iron Knuckles!  You’ve faced two already, but this ones a little bit tougher, and
would be a TON easier if you have the Biggoron’s Sword*.  But anyways, the easiest technique is to jump
attack her. Then do a backflip when she starts slashing at you, and the jump attack her again.  Keep repeating this,
but make sure not to get hit! You might want to get a fairy or two because this Iron Knuckles dude takes
away four hearts per hit.

*Biggorons Sword is accessible by buying the Giant’s Knife from the giant goron in Goron
City.  Use it until it breaks.  Then go to the Cukcoo lady in Kakariko Village, and she will give you a blue Cukcoo.
Give this to the guy sitting next to a log by the Skull Kid in the Lost Woods.  He will give a mushroom that
you have to give to the old lady in the potion shop in Kakariko Village.  Go into the regular potion shop, and to
your left is a little exit.  Go through that and you will be on the other side of the Potion Shop.  There is a red
house.  Go into that and talk to the lady there. She will give you a strange potion that you can give back to that weird guy.  You don’t have a time limit.  When you get to the Lost Woods, you’ll notice he isn’t there.  So show the potion to the little
girl.  She will give you the Poacher’s Saw.  Give it to the carpenter standing outside the tent in Geurdo Valley.
He will give you a broken sword that you will go and give to the Giant Goron on the top of Death Mountain.  He
will give you a prescription to give to King Zora. Then King Zora will give you frog eyes to give to the scientist in the big house at Lake Hylia.  (Hint: It will help A TON is you plant a magic seed by Dongodo’s Cavern while you’re a kid).  Then the
scientist will give you eye drops that you have to bring to the Giant Goron in 4 minutes.  Do not, I repeat DO NOT
warp anywhere, because it will take about 2 minutes off of your time.  Head up Death Mountain Trail, and
hitch a ride on the plant that you planted earlier by Dondogo’s Cavern.  Then get off when you’re by the grotto
that you should have discovered already.  And then from there, make your way up to the Giant Goron.  You
will get a claim check.  You can either wait 3 days, or play the Sun’s Song 6 times.  Then go and get your
sword.

Boss

Twinrova is very fun, but challenging in the beginning.  The two witches will circle around
you, and one will send a beam of ice or fire at you.  With your Mirror Shield, deflect this attack, and direct it at
the other witch.  It sounds easy enough, but there’s a lot more to it than it sounds. After you hit each witch a few times, they will join together as one ultra-witch.  And I know what your saying, oh crap.  But don’t think to soon, this is where it gets easy.  Twinrova will either send fire or ice towards you.  With your Mirror Shield, deflect it again, but this time, the attack will be powered up into your shield.  You want your shield to be powered up with 3 attacks.  If she sends out a different attack, then un-Z-Target her and run to a corner.  Once you have 3 power-ups, direct your shield towards her and the flame or ice
from the shield will burst all over her.  When she is stunned make sure to un-Z-Target her or you will fall of
the edge, and then slash her up a bit.  Do this till she is defeated.

Okay, so you got all the medallions.  Big deal, right? Well you still got a lot ahead of you.

Ganon’s Castle
M-I-N-I Boss

Believe it or not, but Ganondorf is the mini boss.  F.Y.I, you don’t have Navi in this battle, so
you can get rid of all thoughts of Z-Targeting.  First, just like in the Forest Temple, Ganondorf will throw a ball
of light at you.  Volley it back and forth with him till he gets hit, and then quickly shoot him with a light
arrow.  Hookshot over to him and slash him with your sword.  Repeat this process till he his defeated.  He will
eventually take down some of the blocks that you are standing on, so watch out for that.  And if you need any
extra health, jump downstairs and destroy the pots for some hearts.

Boss

Whewh, almost done.  Once you make it to the top of the castle with Princess Zelda, Ganondorf will appear, he will use his Triforce of Power to turn himself into a strange rat-like creature.  Sad, isn’t it.

Well anyways, give Ganon a nice shot between the eyes with a light arrow, then go and slash
his tail. (You can use a Megaton Hammer also).  If you run out of energy, then when he goes to attack you, quickly roll under his
legs and slash/hit his tail.  Repeat this process till Ganon is dead.

 Woo-Hoo!!! You beat Zelda!!!
