Trading Sequence - Ocarina of Time

The objective of the trading sequence in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is to get the Biggoron's Sword from Biggoron at the top of Death Mountain. The Biggoron Sword will prove to be a worth blade to have in your quest through Hyrule.

1. Get the Pocket Egg - Cucco Girl  (Kakariko Village)

Go to Kakariko Village and talk to the Cucco Lady. She will ask if you wanted to take a pocket egg. Agree to take it and wait for the egg to hatch into a Pocket Cucco. Take the Pocket Cucco and go into the house across from the archery range in Kakariko Village. You will see Talon sleeping on a bed. Wake him up with the Pocket Cucco. Leave the house and go and see the Cucco Lady again. She will be pleased with the care you gave it, and give you Cojiro, the blue cucco, that belonged to her brother.

2. Cojiro - Brother  (Lost Woods)

Take your new Cojiro into the Lost Woods. Go to where the Skull Kid used to be at, and you will find a man sitting next to the tree stump. Pull out Cojiro in front of him. He will recognize the bird and will give you an odd mushroom.

3. Odd Mushroom - Potion Shop  (Kakariko Village)

You will have a time limit to get the Odd Mushroom to the Potion Shop at Kakariko Village. Take the warp to Goron City through the Lost Woods and work your way to Kakariko. Enter the Potion Shop, first building on the left. Take the back door on the left and go up the stairs ahead to the Potion Shop. Give the Odd Mushroom to the woman in the potion shop and she will give you the Odd Potion that she made out of the Mushroom.

4. Odd Potion - Kokiri Girl  (Lost Woods)

Go back to give the man in the Lost Woods the Odd Potion. When you return, he won't be there, but a girl will be. She will tell you that the man turned into a stalfos. She will then give you the Poacher's Saw, that the man left behind.

5. Poacher's Saw - Carpenter  (Gerudo Valley)

Take the Poacher's Saw to the tent at the entrance to the Gerudo's Fortress, across the river. Show the saw to the Boss Carpenter standing in front. He will take his Poacher's Saw and give you a broken Goron's Sword.

6. Broken Goron's Sword - Biggoron  (Death Mountain)

Take the Broken Goron's Sword to the top of Death Mountain to see Biggoron. Show the sword to him and he will recognize it as his work. He will work on it if you get some eye drops for his irritating eyes. Biggoron will give you a Prescription to take to King Zora.

7. Prescription - King Zora  (Zora's Domain)

Take the Prescription to King Zora in Zora's Domain. Show the prescription to him and the King will give you an Eyeball Frog in replace for the Prescription.

8. Eyeball Frog - Professor  (Lakeside Laboratory, Lake Hylia)

Take the Eyeball Frog to the professor at the Lakeside Laboratory near Lake Hylia. Show the frog to him and he will start to work on the eye drops. Once the drops are done, he will tell you to deliver them to Biggoron quickly.

9. Eye Drops - Biggoron  (Death Mountain)

Quickly take the Eye Drops to the top of Death Mountain in the 5 minute time frame. Once you see Biggoron again, give the eye drops. His eyes will feel much better and he will start to work on the broken Biggoron Sword you gave him. He will give you the Claim Check.

10. Claim Check - Biggoron  (Death Mountain)

Now all that you have to do is wait a few days for Biggoron to work on the sword. After a few days, return to Death Mountain and receive your new Biggoron Sword. The Biggoron Sword is a very large sword. It is twice as powerful as the Master Sword, but you cannot use a shield with the Biggoron Sword, since it requires both hands to hold.
