Lynna City

    When you start up Oracle of Seasons, you will begin in a field area. Walk up 2 screens with Link and you will find someone crying for help. Link will scare away the enemies surrounding Impa, Princess Zelda's nurse. Impa wants to find Nayru the singer and wants you to help her find her. Now walk up 1 screen and to the left 1 screen to find a large rock with the triforce inscribed in it. Move the rock over to the right to clear the path, the continue on by going up 2 screens. Talk to all of the animals sitting in front of Nayru, then talk to the bear to get him to move over. Then talk to Ralph, a friend of Nayru's. You will then be introduced to Nayru, who fears and evil presence approaching the land of Labrynna. Veran, the Sorceress of Shadows will then appear and take control of Nayru's body. Veran now posesses the powers of the Oracle of Ages, Nayru, the power to travel back and forth through time, allowing an age of darkness to overcome the land. Veran then goes to the past and alters the present Labrynna. Seeing Nayru gone now, Ralph goes to try and find Nayru. Impa will then entrust the Hero's Wooden Sword to you and tell you to meet with the Maku Tree in Lynna City. To get to the Maku Tree, go down 3 screens, left 1, and up 2 screens to a cave on the left of a gate. Inside Maku road, go up 4 screens to find some stairs leading outside to the Maku Tree, guardian of Labrynna. While you are talking to the Maku tree, Veran will be changing the past and the Maku Tree will disappear. Now walk to the right 1 screen to find Ralph next to a time portal. Ralph will enter the portal to try and save the Maku Tree and Nayru, and wants you to go to. So enter the time portal to travel 400 years in the past. To go see the Maku Tree, you will need a shovel to enter Maku Road. Go down 1 screen, left 1, down 1, left 3 screens, down 3 screens, and right 1 to talk to a contruction worker in front of Queen Ambi's tower, also called Black Tower. The worker will let you look around the construction site. Go up 1 screen and enter the tower. Inside, go right 1 screen, up 1, and left 1 to find some workers digging, a guard, and a construction worker with a clipboard. Talk to the worker with the clipboard to get a shovel from him. Use the shovel to dig the dirt on the right, then go down 2 screens to exit the Black Tower. To get to the Maku Tree now, go down 1 screen, left 1, up 3 screens, across the river and right 3 screens, and up 1 to find the entrance to Maku Road. Inside Maku Road, go up 1 screen, push the block ahead up 1 time to get the door ahead to open.Go up 1 more screen. Now move the block in the way to the left or right to clear the path, then walk to the right 1 screen. In this room, defeat all of the enemies to get the north door to open. Go up 1 screen and push the block in your way into the large hole in the ground. Now walk to the right and follow the path to the switch on the top of the screen. This will activate a chest. Now go back the other way around to get to the chest with the small key inside. Once you have the key, go back down 1 screen and left 2. In this room, move the blocks that are surrounding the switch to the left, to reach the switch and open to door above. Now go up 1 screen to find some enemies and a piece of heart in the upper left corner. Defeat the enemies, get the piece of heart by moving the blocks,and move the lone block on the right to open the door on the right. Now go right 1 screen, then up and to the stairs above to get outside where the Maku Tree is. Defeat the enemies surrounding the Maku Tree. The Maku Tree will then open the gate in front of her and promise to repay Link. Now go down 1 screen to find a new time portal. Enter the portal to revisit the present and visit the Maku Tree again. talk to the Maku Tree to find out about the 8 essences of time and that you must beat Veran. The Maku Tree will then tell you to go to Yoll Graveyard and she will give you a seed satchel, with Ember seeds inside. Now walk to the right 1 screen, down 2 screens, right 1, and down 1 to find the entrance to Yoll Graveyard, where there is a small tree next to the sign. Burn the small trees by using your Ember seeds on them, then go right 1 screen and burn another tree in your path. Now go right 1 screen, down 1, left 1, down and across the bridge, then right 2 screen. In this screen, burn the tree on the bottom of the screen to reveal a hidden staircase. Go down the staircase into the cave. Inside, light the 2 torches with your Ember seeds to make the Graveyard Key appear on the large skull floor. Now go back up the stairs, go left 2 screens, up 1, right 1, and up 2 to reach a gate. Unlock the gate with your Graveyard Key, then go right 1 screen and down 3 screens to reach the entrance to the Spirit's Grave.

Spirit's Grave

    From the entrance to the Spirit's Grave, go right 1 screen. In this room, defeat the enemies, then move the top block of the triangle of blocks blocking the north door. Go up 1 screen, push the small cube ahead into the square pit to ignite the 4 blue torches and open up the doors. To get the dungeon map, go to the left and down 1 screen to find a chest with the Dungeon Map. Then jump down, go up 1 screen and right 1 screen. In this room, defeat the enemies then go up 1 screen. In this room, defeat the ghost with your sword, then collect the key that appears after defeating it. Now go back down 1 screen, left 1, then down 1 and back up 1 to move the cube again and open the upper door. Now go up 1 screen and push the block ahead up to access the left side of the room, get the compass in the chest, and use an ember seed on the left wall to reveal a hidden doorway. Go left 1 screen, defeat the enemies, then activate the switch on the platform to the left to activate a chest. Open the chest on the right to find a ring inside. Now go back to the right 1 screen, push the center block, then go up 1 screen using your small key. In this room, push one of the blocks on the right that is blocking the path to the chest on the upper right corner of the screen. Get to the chest to get another small key inside. Now go left 1 screen and move the bottom 2 blocks on the left. Move the bottom one to the left and the top one up, to reach the path on the left. Follow the path up, then to the right 1 screen and up 1. In this room, move the center one, in front of you, up, move the 2 blocks on the side, out in opposite directions. Then move the 2 remaining blocks both up. Now walk to the left to find a switch in the upper left corner of the room. Press it to make a chest appear. Now walk to the right and activate the switch on that side, to make a green floating platform appear. Walk onto the platform to reach the chest on the other side, with a small key inside. Now go back down 1 screen, left 1, and up 1 to reach the next room. In this room, use the green sliding platform to reach the door on the left, and go left 1 screen. Now go down 1 screen, through the locked door to reach the mini-boss, the Giant Ghini. To defeat the Giant Ghini, just slash at the smaller spirits and the Ghini with your sword. Keep the smaller spirits from attaching to you by fending them off with your sword. Once defeated, a fairy and a warp to the entrance of the dungeon will appear. Go left 1 screen, defeat the enemies in that room, then go down 1 screen. You will find 3 blocks blocking your way to the south door.Move the 2 outer blocks down and the center block to the left to reach the door. In the next room, defeat the enemies, then walk to the right and go back up 1 screen. Defeat the enemies there, then light the 2 unlit torches on the top of the screen with Ember seeds, to make a stairway appear. Go down the stairs into the tunnel, walk to the right and up the stairs to collect the Power Bracelet.

Now go back up the stairs and go down 1 screen. Pick up the pots on the left with your Power Bracelet and throw them over your head to get entrance to the raised platform on the left. Open the chest on the left to get a ring inside. Now walk down 1 screen and go towards the switch on the right. Push the pot onto the switch to open up the door on the right. Go right 1 screen to the next room. In this room, break the pots to get inside the chest at the top of the screen and defeat all the enemies. Inside the chest is the Boss Key. Now go right 1 screen to get back to the entrance of the dungeon. Now use the warp in the middle of the screen to go back to the mini-boss room, then walk up 2 screens to get to the final room before the boss. In here, watch out for the wallmaster that will continuously drop down to the floor. If it catches you, it will take you back to the entrance of the dungeon. You can defeat it by slashing it with your sword. Now go right 1 screen to get to the boss.

Pumpkin Head

To defeat Pumpkin Head, use your sword to damage its body while dodging its attacks. When its body disappears, pick up the pumpkin head using your Power Bracelet to expose the ghost that is inside the head. Throw the head across the room and hit the ghost with your sword until it rejoins its head. After a few hits to the ghost, Pumpkin Head will be defeated and you will earn a heart container. Now walk up 1 screen to received the first essence of time, the Eternal Spirit. You will then arrive outside the Spirit's Grave and will be told by the Maku Tree to go to the Western Woods for the next essence.
